Roasted Turkey Wings with Sauerkraut Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 pieces JENNIE-O® Turkey Wing Portions
½ cup sliced onion
4 cups sauerkraut
2 bay leaves
Juniper berries, black pepper, and salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 350°F.
In large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add wing portions. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, turning until wing portions are well browned, or meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the wing registers 165°F. Add onions. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring, or until onions are golden brown.
Add sauerkraut on top of wing potions and onions. Season with a few juniper berries, pepper and salt. Cover. Bake 45 minutes. Remove cover. Bake for 30 minutes.
